Born in Germany, Fox lived in several countries before establishing a permanent residence in Miami, Florida, in 1960. Fox, who holds a degree in political science from the University of Miami, gained entrepreneurial experience while founding and establishing an internationally acclaimed haute couture salon, which served clients from the United States, Central and South America and the Caribbean. She was president and CEO of the business for 25 years, before retiring in 1997.

In a field where competency is often difficult to assess, Frances is considered a professional to be respected, regardless of a person’s beliefs. Her systematic, “no nonsense” fashion of presenting alternative information draws in even the most ardent deniers of “psychic” abilities.
